Behold I Have Set Before Thee an Open DoorThe purpose of Open Door Baptist Missions is to promote the work of Christ in regions that have been closed to the gospel or that presently have little or no gospel witness. We strive to accomplish this task while the Lord has set before us an open door (Revelation 3:8). This is done through the collective support of local churches.

We stand ready to help fundamental, Bible-believing churches place their missionary candidates on the field of God’s call. It is our desire to give the Gospel to those who have never heard.

We endeavor to partner with those who are already laboring in the harvest fields and help train those who will be the leaders of tomorrow.

Monthly Missionary Updates

►.Kristi Colas has purchased an apartment near Paris, France. In mid-May she was involved in a music ministry for 3 different ladies’ meetings across France. In July she will spend several days in Turkey with some nationals from a restricted-access Central Asian country to assist them with their church music. She is meeting with a French woman for an evangelistic Bible study who is hungry for the Gospel.

En Khan & Lun Kham continue to reach out to the people of Myanmar. En Khan teaches and trains students in the local Bible college. He regularly takes trips to teach, follow-up, & encourage church planters, leaders, & teachers in restricted-access countries. Pray for these men & women to be faithful amidst opposition. In May he received an honorary doctorate degree from Bob Jones University.

From the Director

This is the time of year when we attend ceremonies and send cards/gifts to commemorate graduates. These students have worked hard and persevered to write assignments, endure exams, and complete their courses of study. While graduation honors and celebrates great accomplishment, it also signals a transition from one stage of life to the next. Missionaries also labor purposefully to make disciples of Christ and train leaders, striving for ministry graduation when churches and ministries are ready to stand on their own. When missionaries successfully pass the baton of leadership to national leaders who then further and advance the ministries, it is something to celebrate and praise the Lord. Every one of your prayers, gifts, and notes of encouragement makes a difference in planting churches and graduating them.
