Donations

If you would like to make a tax-deductible contribution to the general fund of Open Door Baptist Missions or to any of its missionaries or special projects, you may do so through the following means:

Checks/Money Orders

Please make all checks payable to Open Door Baptist Missions. Please specify whether your contribution should be used for the General Fund or a specific missionary or ministry and if your contribution is a one-time gift or if you plan to continue the support on a regular basis.

Automatic Bank Withdrawals

Did you know that you can now support your missionaries without ever using a stamp or a pen? With your authorization, we will debit your bank account each month for your missionary support.

Paypal / Credit Cards

To make a donation to any of the missionaries using Paypal, just go the the Missionaries page and click on the Donate button beside the missionaries name. Please bear in mind that there is a processing fee charged by Paypal of between 2.3% to 3% per donation that is paid by the recipient. There are no fees associated with the other methods for making contributions listed on this page.

Non-Cash Contributions

To make a non-cash contribution such as possessions, stocks, etc., or for details about adding ODBM to your will, please contact the office using the contact information at the bottom of the page.

How the Funds Are Administered

Open Door Baptist Missions is a faith-based ministry which is funded by donations from like-minded churches and individuals. All funds received for missionaries, specific fields, specific projects or general missionary work will be administered as follows:

Receipts designated for the ministry and work of individual missionaries, specifically named fields or specific projects shall be the property of the Mission and will be disbursed under the direction and control of the Board for the support of the missionary or ministry indicated.

Receipts designated for general missionary work shall be the property of the Mission and will be used under the direction of the Board with due consideration to any special interest expressed by the donor.

All receipts designated to Home Office expense and all contributions and receipts not specifically designated to one of the other funds shall be placed in the General Fund. Expenses incident to the Home Office, promotion and other items of general expense shall be paid from this fund.
