And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow; nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.“ (Rev 21:4) What a glorious promise God has given every believer. Last year, around December, Chris and I had the chance to go to the holocaust museum in Washington DC. The sufferings displayed on the peoples’ faces in the concentration camps were agonizing and certainly heart wrenching. Many today suffer in this present world in various forms and degrees. But as believers we must endure, in that our sufferings are not to be compared to the glory that we shall experience when our pilgrimage on earth is over and we will be with our Savior forever. (Rom. 8:18) The Gospel promise that there will no longer be any sufferings, sorrow, tears, and death needs to be proclaimed while we exist here on this earth.
