Behold I Have Set Before Thee an Open DoorThe purpose of Open Door Baptist Missions is to promote the work of Christ in regions that have been closed to the gospel or that presently have little or no gospel witness. We strive to accomplish this task while the Lord has set before us an open door (Revelation 3:8). This is done through the collective support of local churches.

We stand ready to help fundamental, Bible-believing churches place their missionary candidates on the field of God’s call. It is our desire to give the Gospel to those who have never heard.

We endeavor to partner with those who are already laboring in the harvest fields and help train those who will be the leaders of tomorrow.

Monthly Missionary Updates

Traci Angle continues to faithfully serve the Lord in Asia. Daily, she relies on the Lord to keep the doors of ministry open. Unity is an important part of her team’s internal strength. Traci seeks guidance from the Holy Spirit to wisely build relationships with those who are genuinely interested in the Lord. Personal Bible studies have increased during the year as well as service opportunities in other areas.

► During the summer, Kristi Colas spent several days with believers in Central Asia. She heard stories from believers of constant harassment and threats from secret police while experiencing their joy, peace, and hope of the indwelling Holy Spirit. Kristi is reaching out to neighbors in her new housing complex of 180 homes outside of Paris, France. She is starting weekly English Clubs where she also tells Bible stories.

From the Director

In a world where identity theft is becoming a huge problem, not just our legal identity matters but also our Christian identity. Around the world the name of Christ has been stolen by counterfeit Christians making authentic Christianity all more vital. False Christianity repels those who are spiritually blind, and sends them groping in darkness for the wrong answers. But genuine disciples of Christ have beautiful feet because they bring the good news of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. True disciples of Christ live out their Christianity in both word and deed with a pure heart (1 John 3:18). Our faith and discipleship is evidenced by our actions (James 2:26). As we pray for missionaries to be authentic in their Christianity, may we also put into practice what we pray!
